Prema rezultatima istraživanja koji pokazuju koji program za surfovanje po internetu korisnici najviše koriste, Microsoftov IE (Internet Explorer) zauzeo je prvo mesto i njega koristi neverovatnih 76% korisnika Interneta. Rezultati, koji su prikazani na sajtu cuvene online enciklopedije, Wikipedia, dalje pokazuju da je na drugom mestu Mozila sa 17%, a na trećem Safari koji sve više koriste oni koji surfuju preko mobilnog, a tek na četvrtom mestu se našla Opera sa 0,66%.
